ABOUT US

Learn more about how we started, who's running the show and the story behind Pardon My French

Pardon My French was opened by Tyler and Ollie in the late summer of 2018, armed with nothing but a silly credit card limit, a love for the industry and no real idea that it would grow into what it is today. What started as a passion project quickly became something bigger - a space that’s been shaped, renovated (three or four times, but who’s counting?) and filled with countless sticker designs, t-shirts and little freebies.

When we first opened, the timing was perfect - the shop seemed to run itself, the industry was booming. But as the industry evolved, so did we. These days, we’re more focused than ever on creating something more than just a place to get tattooed.

At Pardon My French, we believe getting tattooed should feel like visiting old friends -relaxed, inclusive and unforgettable. One thing that hits you as soon as you step through our doors is that we’re much more than colleagues here. Every artist plays a huge part in making PMF what it is - a true community, full of heart. The atmosphere we’ve built is a direct reflection of the people who fill it every day: talented, welcoming, passionate and real. We spend a lot of time together outside of work, be that afterwork pints, activity days out or our annual all expenses paid xmas trip to centerparcs.

The shop always comes first - and it shows. Whether it’s a major facelift or just another round of unnecessary (but deeply satisfying) tweaks, everything runs a little smoother thanks to Ollie’s 13+ years in the building industry. His eye for detail, now channeled into his tattooing, still finds its way into every perfectly cut edge, every fresh coat of paint and every floating shelf. You can feel his passion for renovation in every corner of the space.

Tyler, with her background in photography, graphic design and sales, has long since claimed the title of in-house creative/mediator. A former Photoshop teacher and lifelong visual thinker, she brings the brand to life through stickers, merch and imagery that keeps PMF fresh and never far from people’s minds whilst keeping the peace and taming the DIY animal that is Ollie (if she didn’t, we’d be on renovation 13 by now).

Together, their skills have shaped a space that’s as personal as it is professional - full of love, care and just the right amount of chaos. Whether it’s a free coffee, a cold drink, a sticker pack to leave with, or just a few laughs along the way, everything we do is about the experience. At PMF, we’re proud to have built a place people want to be part of - a place where getting tattooed feels as good as the tattoo looks.
